Born in 1977 in Louisiana, grew up hunting and fishing, and enjoying the outdoor lifestyle. Went to high school in Virginia and moved to Durango in 1996 for college at Fort Lewis. Avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoys mountain and road biking, climbing, backpacking, skiing, rafting, and still sticking to his Louisiana roots of hunting and fishing. Michael is also, an avid scuba diver and a PADI Scuba instructor. Graduated from Fort Lewis in 2002 with a degree in Geology, and began work in the field in the four corners area in 2003 as an oil and gas consultant, and has been working as a carpenter with Skywalker since the company originated in 2002. Some of his other interests include photography, motorcycles, elk and duck hunting, competition shooting, and music. In his free time you will often find him out with his golden retriever, Emma adventuring outdoors in the Utah desert and the four corners area or 100 feet under the surface in the crystal clear Caribbean waters!
